Preparing the graduates of tomorrow

The University of Newcastle offers a number of opportunities for business, industry and community to help us equip our students with the right skills and prepare them for the future workforce.

This can be through hosting a student placement through Work Integrated Learning, which we commonly call, WIL, or through advertising paid employment opportunities, volunteering opportunities, and research collaboration.

Work Integrated Learning - Picture by Mathew GloverWIL, and other curricular aligned and extra-curricular opportunities, exemplify how the University is on the right path to ensure our graduates are work-ready, engaged with their chosen career, and are excited about their future beyond university. This can only happen, however, with mutually beneficial partnerships with industry, business and our community.
