Do you have research skills? Do you have communication skills? Are you creative? Are you a good collaborator? Can you think laterally? Are you up for a challenge? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you would be an ideal participant in the Grand Challenge.

The Grand Challenge is designed as an online event and participants can be located anywhere in the world, but at least one team member must be a University of Newcastle student, staff, or alumni based in Australia. Teams must consist of a minimum of two to a maximum of five members.

Yes! Teams only require that one of your team members be a current student or staff member, or alumnus based in Australia. Once you have that one person, you can add in your neighbour, your work colleague, your boss, or your mum.
