Professor John Fischetti

Welcome to the Faculty of Education and Arts.

Across the Schools of Creative Industries, Education, and Humanities and Social Science, our Faculty is uniquely situated to provide world-class teaching, research and impact to the regions we serve nationally and around the world.

Our staff come from across Australia and around the globe to help guide the University of Newcastle to deliver on its major pillars of social justice and equity. The Faculty has a range of degrees that are amongst the best in market for student engagement and experience.

Our researchers investigate globally relevant topics and are helping drive the University’s prestige and rankings, with programs and research that place us amongst the top institutions in the world.

Whether you are considering studying as an undergraduate student, completing a Master’s degree, entertaining the thought of a Higher Degree by Research, or perhaps in working and partnering with us, we are excited to discuss your future and how it aligns with ours.

The Faculty of Education and Arts is proud of our successes to date, but we know we’ve just started in our journey to get education right for every person in society.

Come join us.
