Role of the Committee

  • To encourage the development of research, education and training in the area of cooperative organisation and management, social enterprises and cooperative innovation
  • To provide advice on course development within the Co-operative Organisation and Management Programme, including:
    • to assist in the review of existing accredited courses/programs
    • to assist in the development of new courses/programs
    • to assist in the development of short courses/executive programs
  • To suggest and support the development of research into the co-operative sector
  • To promote University of Newcastle programs
  • To assist in the promotion of closer relationships between the University, industry and the wider community.
