Faculty of Business and Law

On behalf of my colleagues, welcome to the Newcastle Law School and Newcastle Business School, we wish you every success in your studies with us.

Our cutting-edge courses and degrees offer our students the opportunity to collaborate with business, government and the professions in work-integrated learning. All our degrees and majors ensure that our students are equipped with the work-ready skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and advanced communication skills, sought by employers.

Our academic staff are committed educators and researchers, engaging in collaborative learning with our students. Many of our lecturers bring real-world business and law experience to their teaching.

The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
