This Is Public Health
The School of Medicine and Public Health is hosting a 'This is Public Health' Careers Expo at HMRI, where attendees will have the opportunity to browse stalls from potential employers, professional organisations and training providers and to hear from keynote speaker Terry Slevin, CEO, Public Health Association of Australia on public health careers.
Those who wish to (and register separately) can then walk over to the Royal Newcastle Centre to hear the David Maddison Lecture being delivered by Emeritus Professor Stephen Leeder between 5.30pm and 7pm.
Staff are more than welcome to come along to the event, as well as current undergraduate and postgraduate students and prospective public health students who are interested in understanding more about the range of public health career options.
