Art of Problem Solving Exhibition 2019

Saturday, 30 November 2019 — Sunday, 8 December 2019

Art of Problem Solving Exhibition 2019

“Science is about knowing; engineering is about doing.” - Henry Petroski.

Engineers use everyday problems as their canvas for creative inventions that will help change the world.

The Art of Problem Solving showcases some of UON’s most exciting engineering and computing innovations - like an algorithm to work out how thirsty trees are, a study on bulletproof steel, facial recognition software that reads your emotions and a smart fight training dummy.

Join us for the University of Newcastle’s 2019 Art of Problem Solving exhibition.
