RE-THINK Public Lecture Series: Global Power and Politics Today
RE-THINK PUBLIC LECTURE SERIES
The School of Humanities and Social Science is coordinating Re-Think, a new public lecture series where UON humanities researchers will present their work to the general public via short lectures on connected topics of contemporary interest, followed by the opportunity for questions and extensive discussion.
It will provide a valuable chance for academics who teach into the Bachelor of Arts and the public to interact, including socialising before and after each session in the cafe space. The series will run on the first Thursday of every month throughout Semester 2 2016, then return throughout Semesters 1 and 2 of 2017.
The sessions will feature a diverse array of speakers in regard to discipline, career stage and gender.
Whether you're an academic staff member, student, post-graduate researcher, or member of the public, please do come along to this exciting series and stick around for food and drinks at the cafe!
