Re-Thinkis a series of public talks run by The University of Newcastle’s School of Humanities and Social Science. Each Re-Think features UO researchers presenting their work and informed commentary to the general public in the form of short presentations on topics of contemporary interest, followed by questions and discussion. It provides a valuable chance for academics teaching into the Bachelor of Arts or other associated programs and the public to interact via discussion of topical subjects in a casual environment, with drinks in hand. Featuring a diverse array of speakers ranging from senior academics to early career researchers, Re-Think is usually held on the first Wednesday of every month during semester, from 6:00–7:30 pm, including plenty of time for discussion and socialising. Whether you're a staff member, student, post-graduate researcher, or member of the public, please come along to this exciting series and listen, discuss, eat and drink!
