Our final year Bachelor of Music students will delight audiences in their final recital

This performance is a culmination of three years of study, featuring music from all styles and genres including classical, jazz and new.

FESTIVAL X

This performance makes up part of the School Of Creative Industries' FESTIVAL X being held 13-17 November, across the University’s vibrant city campus and beyond.

Now in its second year, Festival X is a culmination of student’s work in the areas of design, animation, communication, theatre, music and film. Held over five days and featuring more than twenty unique events, the students will be making their mark in performances, exhibitions and screenings, celebrating their achievements and showcasing years of dedication to their craft.

The University of Newcastle music degree fosters musical collaboration between performers, songwriters and producers. It also encourages engagement in live music performance and studio production through creative project-based assessment.

You will have opportunities to showcase your work in a variety of venues and presentation styles, as well as collaborate on projects with peers across performance, songwriting, composition and creative production.
