Make a World of Difference: Success in the Workplace
Make A World Of Difference
The Make a World of Difference program is designed to help international students navigate and understand the Australian workplace. The program covers one topic per week for three weeks. You will participate in a one-and-a-half hour workshop each week, and gain access to a range of online resources and activities related to that week's topic.
The first step in success in the Australian workplace is to use effective job search techniques to identify relevant opportunities. The second step is to align your qualifications, skills, attributes and knowledge to your preferred roles and industry to increase your chances of submitting a successful application. The third step is to prepare for and perform well at job interviews. If you are new to Australia, you will gain some insights about adapting to Australian workplace culture.
This workshop will take place online. If you are unable to join at the scheduled time, you can register anyway and we will send you the recording.
