Would you like to work for the University while you complete your IT, Business, Law or a related discipline degree? Aimed at later year students and those about to graduate…this interesting and challenging role as an IT Vendor Management Assistant could be for you.
In this role, you will join the IT Vendor Management Office and assist the University in deriving value for money from established IT contracts. Under the guidance of an experienced mentor, this role will provide exposure and valuable experience in vendor liaison, IT contracts, negotiation, procurement services, and tracking of budget. You will also gain experience across business analysis, business system administration, functional development, and solutions development.
There are eight full-time positions available, and successful applicants will have the flexibility to tailor the role to accommodate their studies.
IT Services have been running this program since 2017 and have had tremendous success in developing individuals with 100% of those mentored going on to permanent roles both within the University and externally.
