Healthy UON invites staff to attend an 8-week meditation program.

The one-hour workshops will run weekly from 12-1pm, commencing Tuesday 5 August and concluding on Tuesday 23 September.

Meditation has many benefits including feeling more centred, improving levels of concentration, better management of depression, mood and emotions, ability to live a more balanced and peaceful lifestyle, and many experience a reduction in physical pain and illness.

Some of the topics covered include utilising the breath and your energy, relaxation, letting go of stress, sound and music, exploring thoughts, patterns and beliefs, and mindfulness.
