Music And Projections - School Holiday Workshop
Facilitated by the University of Newcastle's School of Creative Industries in partnership with Maitland Gaol, this workshop is for high school students (years 7-12) with a passion for music who are keen to explore live visuals and performance.
Over two days, you will experience the use of cinematic projections with music, using cutting edge technology to generate sound and visualisations for performance and artistic expression. You don't need to play an instrument but if you do, please bring it with you.
The second day of the workshop will conclude with a short performance piece from 5:30pm - 6:00pm for parents, friends and family. Most importantly, if you love music and technology, this engaging workshop is for you!
Ticket price includes participation in both days of the workshop, commencing at 9:00am - 3:00pm. Please bring your lunch, morning tea provided.
