HSC Music Day
The University of Newcastle's Conservatorium of Music is excited to present HSC Music Day again in 2025.
We invite your Year 11 and 12 music students to attend on Friday 2 May 2025 at the Harold Lobb Concert Hall, at the Conservatorium of Music from 9:00am until 2:30 pm.
This year we will focus on maximising HSC Music outcomes through specific strategies within each of the HSC Music Components. There will be performances from various schools and valuable presentations by experienced HSC Music Teachers. You can review the event program here
Students will be provided with a comprehensive Music Resource booklet. All students are expected to bring writing materials and wear full school uniform to this event. To comply with venue safety requirements, large school backpacks must not be brought into the foyer or Concert Hall. Students may bring a small bag for personal belongings and writing materials.
Snacks will be available for purchase from the foyer canteen, however, students are encouraged to bring a packed lunch or organise individual arrangements for a ‘Picnic in the Park’ (weather permitting).
The cost of the day is $45.00 per student (including GST). One complimentary teacher per student group is included. Please indicate total numbers with your booking.
