The Innovation Hub will provide the physical space and catalyst needed by UON students and staff to create, develop and produce ideas and products to meet market expectations and generate ongoing social and economic benefits for the region.
It is the place where entrepreneurs, innovators, start-ups, developers, technical specialists, business advisors, students and researchers can collaborate innovate and challenge the conventional.
Located at 376 Hunter Street the 2 storey refurbishment will incorporate places to interact and collaborate through a range of hot desks and workstations, technology-enabled collaborative spaces and informal lounge areas.
The new place will bring together all elements of the innovation ecosystem necessary to support start-ups in the Hunter region. The project commenced in July and was completed in September 2016.
