  • 1,000 hours of supervised field education placements;
  • Two 70-day supervised field placements in years 3 and 4 of your degree.

As a UON Social Work student, you will be spoilt for choice - you will gain from opportunities to undertake work placements locally within NSW, interstate across Australia and if you prefer, internationally.

LAW ON THE BEACH 2016

The Law on the Beach series is a free community legal advice service held at Newcastle Beach, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Law. Now in its 13th year, social work students have the opportunity to gain practical experience towards their degrees as they work to help members of the community.
