Plant Biology

With more than 24,000 species of native plants in Australia and hundreds of thousands more throughout the world, there is plenty to study when it comes to the Plant Biology major.

Plants are multicellular, immobile organisms composed of a number of cells. You’ll explore the physiology of these cells and how they develop to become the many different species of plants and flora that inhabit our world.
