UoN Prep Bridging Courses

The UON Prep Bridging courses are designed to support you in your future studies whether that be an undergraduate degree or one of our foundation programs. The UON Prep Bridging courses available on-campus at the University of Newcastle typically run for approximately 15 hours over one week, and are offered during the break in the lead-up to the start of each Semester.

There are also three three (3) week online courses available, Academic Survival Skills Online and The Secret Life of Matter: Foundation Chemistry and Essential Numeracy.

The online courses, Academic Survival Skills Online and The Secret Life of Matter: Foundation Chemistry do not have timetables. Students should aim to complete these courses prior to the start of semester. See How can I apply? for details on how to enrol in these courses.

If you enrol in an on-campus UON Prep Bridging course, you will also need to "self-enrol" via the Blackboard site for the course. Blackboard is an online learning resource that gives you access to course materials at any time.
