The University of Newcastle Support Networks

Campus Care

Campus Care provides a service that creates a safe environment for everyone at the University. It provides a central reporting avenue if you have experienced an incident of harm, feel threatened, or are concerned about another person’s wellbeing.

University of Newcastle Personal Support Services

It doesn’t matter what stage of study you’re at or what issue you’re facing, we can find the services to help.

Some of the services available include access to bulk-billed medical services, free counselling, and staff and systems to support specialist and identified areas.

Dean of Students and Office of Student Advocates

Providing free and confidential assistance in navigating the rules and regulations of the University, Student Advocates and the Dean of Students can support you in negotiating academic decisions, adverse circumstances and appeals, misconduct allegations, applications of remission of fees, and academic issue resolution.

The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
