Summer Term study

A number of courses are offered to undergraduate and postgraduate students over the summer break in a shorter, intensive format. There are three separate Summer terms: SummerCompressed Summer and Late Summer. You may wish to study over the summer to catch up a course you've missed or to fast-track your degree.

Be sure to check your program plan before enrolling in a Summer term course. If a Summer term course listed below is a compulsory, directed or elective course in your current program, you may be able to enrol. Contact ProgramAdvice@newcastle.edu.au if you are unsure whether a Summer term course can be included in your program.

If a course is not part of your program, this is considered non-award study and fees apply which are additional to your program costs.
