Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Professional Staff Excellence

The Vice Chancellor's Awards for Professional Staff Excellence, established in 1998, are an opportunity to recognise and reward professional staff who have demonstrated outstanding performance, contributing to the overall success of the University.

The Awards should encourage all staff to seek ways to step up and take on new challenges – the rewards are worth it.

Award recipients receive $2,000 (individuals) and $4,000 (groups) to be paid either as salary or professional development. For the first time in 2014, an overall winner of the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Professional Staff Excellence received $10,000, to be paid either as salary or professional development.

Eligibility

All professional staff members, up to and including HEW 9, who are either ongoing or on a fixed term appointment of normally greater than 12 months, are eligible for nomination for this award.

Staff cannot be the recipient of an individual award in two consecutive years for the same or substantially similar achievement.
