Vice-Chancellor's Award for Collaboration Excellence
The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Collaboration Excellence were established in 2015 to recognise staff who collaborate to change the status quo and build an agile and outcomes focused culture (NeW Futures Strategic Plan).
In 2018, the Collaboration Excellence Award was broadened to allow for both team and individual nominations for outstanding collaboration with external stakeholders. The Executive Committee will identify one team/group (for outstanding cross-unit collaboration or collaboration with an external stakeholder) OR one individual for outstanding collaboration with an external stakeholder.
To be eligible for nomination, nominees must be either ongoing or on a fixed term appointment normally greater than 12 months.
Faculties and Divisions may submit one team/group OR one individual nomination for the Collaboration Excellence Award category.
- A group may consist of either a work unit team OR individuals from different work units whose collaboration has produced an outstanding contribution.
- The Award recognises performance that exceeds what would be expected of staff in the normal performance of duties.
Award recipients receive $2,000 for individual or $4,000 for the group/team, paid either as salary or Professional Development. Awards will be presented at a public Awards Ceremony scheduled for Monday 3 December 2018 at the Conservatorium.
