- Health and Safety induction
All new staff need to complete the online Health and Safety Induction within the first two weeks of starting.
- Equity and Diversity orientation
EO Online is a self-paced, interactive Equal Opportunity online workshop designed to give you a better understanding of equity principles within the University.
- Orientation to Teaching
This course is an introduction to teaching in the university setting. It will assist with orienting you to your role, understanding university policies, procedures and student needs, and offer an introduction to UONline. Read more or register.
- Fundamentals in University Teaching Certificate
This blended professional development program is a great place to start if you have never taught or are new to teaching at UON. Outcomes include developing your teaching skills, understanding who your students are and learning classroom management techniques. Read more or register.
- Teaching Essentials
This orientation program introduces new teaching staff to the essential information needed to successfully teach at UON. This program is only available to staff with a probationary requirement to attend. Register.
