New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is a probationary requirements for most new academic appointments.
This program (which includes Teaching Essentials) aims to familiarise new teaching staff with our unique learning environment and provide opportunities for professional development, networking and collegiality.
New Teaching Staff, with a probationary requirement to complete Teaching Essentials and/or New Faculty Orientation, should register for the next available session. Please check your letter of appointment to confirm your probationary requirement before registering.

UONline Introductory Consultation
If you are not familiar with the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (UONline), you are encouraged to schedule a 1 hour introductory consultation with the Learning Technologies Support team. This consultation is designed to provide an introductory overview of the teaching technologies available in UONline. To request an introductory eConsultation, contact the Learning Technologies Support team. You will then be contacted to set up a suitable appointment time. |
