the Educator Network
The Educator Network (tEN) aims to promote collaboration, innovation and excellence. Membership of tEN is open to all educators, being any staff involved in the education experience at our University, including academic and professional staff.
A message from the Educator Network Steering Group:
The University of Newcastle, through the Educator Network, has recently joined AdvanceHE (UK) with an Access Membership. Access Membership brings together the latest and best practice in higher education, and provides access to services for professional development based on evidence and what works globally. We encourage you to think about how to develop your own educator experience and professional development. Visit AdvanceHE for more information on our membership, fellowship opportunities and links to resources and available online tools.
The Educator Network Showcases provide an ideal opportunity to be inspired by your colleagues, sector experts and students; share good practice; learn about practical solutions, support and resources; and most importantly, be part of a community that generates and supports ideas and creativity that enable student learning.
Presentations from our Showcases are now available for download.

Reflections on Australia's engagement with the Professional Standards Framework"
This session, held on 20 May 2020, was presented by Professor Abby Cathcart, Director of the QUT Academy of Learning and Teaching and Advance HE's Global Strategic Advisor (Australasia).
To encourage collaboration the Educator Network has created a Yammer group to assist with sharing good practice, supporting ideas and creativity and networking.
