Orientation to Teaching
The "Orientation to Teaching” day, run by the Centre for Teaching and Learning, is designed to be an introduction to teaching in the university setting, orienting you to your role and classroom practice, university policies and procedures, understanding and caring for students, and a brief introduction to UONline. This session is specifically aimed at new sessional academic staff.
After completing "Orientation to Teaching" sessional staff are then welcome to extend their training by undertaking the "Fundamentals in University Teaching Certificate”.
