Description
Recent technological advances have provided exercise and sport scientists with an advanced ability to capture and analyse quantitative performance data. Students must develop an understanding of the technologies used to assess performance and an ability to critique and justify their selections. Further, given the large data sets generated by the technology, students must understand the fundamentals of data analysis and development an ability to synthesis and communicate the data. By the end of the course, students will be able to select and employ the appropriate technology to analyse performance, as well as treat, analyse and communicate the resulting data.
