Developing Multimedia Publications

Description

The course will explore the development of publications for both print and on-line applications. Students will be producing traditional 'desktop published' documents and expand their skills by the development of on-line document delivery techniques. As students will be generating documents for both print and on-line applications they will be introduced to the production requirements and professional practices required for both media.

Content

The course will explore the editing and design of publications for both print and on-line applications. Students will develop skills in producing traditional 'desktop published' documents and expand their skills by the development of on-line document delivery techniques. As students will be generating documents for both print and on-line applications they will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the production requirements and professional practices required for both media.

Requisites

This course has similarities to CMNS3480. If you have successfully completed CMNS3480 you cannot enrol in this course.

Assumed Knowledge

Completion of all 1000-level; CMNS2710 Public Relations Writing.
