We are proud of our alumni and enjoy sharing your stories and testimonials across our publications, website and social media channels.

Our international alumni network is strong and growing stronger. Wherever you are in the world, you can find support through local alumni chapters, networks and regional alumni ambassadors – connecting you with networking, social and professional development opportunities.

Representing at education fairs
Share your experience with future students
As a University of Newcastle alumnus, you are in a unique position to share your university experience with prospective students. Represent us at recruitment exhibitions, agent training workshops, pre-departure and onboarding events and school visits.
What to expect at an education fair
Representatives from universities worldwide come together for a single education fair event with prospective students and their parents. At these events, students and parents are able to ask questions about University life, programs of study, admissions criteria, living costs, scholarships, financial aid and campus locations. All of this information will be provided to you during training.
Support from the University of Newcastle
A staff member from the University will contact you to arrange a brief training session. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Approximately two weeks before the education fair, you will also receive a pack of materials to use at the fair (depending on location). This includes items such as the undergraduate degree guide, marketing brochures, a personal name badge, a University branded table cloth and signage.

"Volunteering was a natural calling! Having shared a great camaraderie with the University and other fellow students I felt that being able to give back through in-country mentoring, inspiring new and potential students, and representing the University at senior delegations was the best possible way to stay connected. As well as establishing new bonds with other University of Newcastle alumni. Seven years down and long may it continue!”
