The Wollotuka Institute has endeavoured to provide staff, students and community with a comprehensive list of online resources to provide the user with a greater knowledge base, understanding and awareness of Indigenous cultures, lifestyles and issues.

  • Subject Resource Guide for Aboriginal Studies - The University of Newcastle Library's subject resource guide for Aboriginal Studies.
  • Australian Institute of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) is the world's premier institution for information and research about the cultures and lifestyles of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Reconciliation Australia is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2000 by the former Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation. They are the peak national organisation building and promoting reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians for the well-being of the nation.
  • Koori Mail is Australia's National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Newspaper which is produced fortnightly and distributed Australia-wide, providing news, views, advertisements and other material of vital interest to Indigenous Australians and Australians interested in Indigenous affairs.
  • Interactive Ochre - Working Both Ways - This multimedia website provides information for cultural awareness training.
  • INFOKOORI is a service by the State Library of NSW which provides an index to the Koori Mail as well as an index to biographical information from various magazines including Our Aim (1907-1961), Dawn (1952-1969), New Dawn (1970-1975) and Identity (1971-1982).
  • Message Stick - ABC TV - Message Stick is a half hour TV program on the ABC about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lifestyles, culture and issues. It allows Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to tell their stories in their own ways.
  • NITV - National Indigenous Television (NITV) is part of the SBS family of free-to-air channels broadcasting across Australia providing a nationwide Indigenous television service via cable, satellite and terrestrial transmission means and selected online audio visual content. The content for these services is primarily commissioned or acquired from the Indigenous production sector
  • GenerationOne - GenerationOne is a movement to bring all Australians together to end the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in one generation - our generation.
