Finding work after graduation and transitioning from study to employment can be difficult for all students. If you are a student with disability, your National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) can help make this transition as smooth as possible and assist you to find the information you need to secure employment.
Stepping into… is an internship program which helps you get paid work experience in your chosen field of study. You will have the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills you've learnt into practice and gain valuable experience in the professional environment. Stepping into… is also an excellent way to develop the necessary networking skills, social skills and contacts to begin your career.
Finding a job
You may be aware that there are a number of programs and services for people with disability looking for work. JobAccess is a great place to start finding out what services might be useful to you. Education to Employment also provides information about entering the workforce.
Your NDCO can keep you up to date with information about regional career expos and events. Additional support services, including on-campus careers events, are available to UoN students and graduates through UoN's Careers Service.
