The Maitland Percussion Ensemble nurtures percussionist's performance skills through a variety of un-tuned percussion instruments. Percussionists who specialise in drum kit are highly encouraged to consider this ensemble, as the musical focus is built around drum line (un-tuned) performance pieces. Rehearsals are musically rewarding and enjoyable, particularly for those who are interested in refining their ensemble skills and developing their stick control.
String Development Program
The String Development Program is an introduction to violin for students learning in small groups. The program can run across a whole year group, or for select students and can directly link to curriculum outcomes.
