2018 Finalist - Daniel Moller, Master of Digital Media 2012

Dan Moller is a Lead Artist at The Mill, one of the world’s most respected visual effects studios. In this role, Dan sets the artistic standard of each project he manages, such as ground breaking commercials, music videos and virtual reality (VR) experiences. He has been part of the 3D VFX team since 2014. Some notable projects include the Sky ‘Q’ advertisement and the fully computer generated (CG) Audi commercial ‘Birth’, which pictures the literal birth of an Audi car which both went on to win Cannes Lions.

His more recent work, five CG animals in a wind tunnel, an advertisement for Opel ‘Running Faces’, was nominated for a Visual Effects Society award and was Art Lead VR experience for Corona - 'Paraiso Secreto', which was VES nominated for outstanding VFX in a Special Venue Project. Dan spent 12 years working in Australian commercial advertising and as the Head of Animation and Games at Qantm College, Perth, before relocating to London. Since then he has worked alongside directors such as Baz Luhrmann and Jake Nava.
