The state-of-the-art Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) was founded in 1998 through a partnership between the University of Newcastle and the Hunter New England Local Health District. This world-class institute houses more than 1,500 medical researchers, students and support staff striving to prevent, treat and defeat a multitude of serious illnesses.
6pm - Conference dinner
Merewether NSW Australia
Merewether Surfhouse is an award-winning building with 270o views of the Newcastle waterfront. The result of a $6m investment in partnership with the Newcastle City Council, the building has transformed land use and economy in the area.
All guests are invited to attend the Conference Dinner which will be held at Merewether Surfhouse. A shuttle bus will be available to transport guests directly from HMRI to Merewether Surfhouse.
Please note, parking is limited at the Conference venue, shuttle bus transportation will be available from a central Newcastle location for all speakers and attendees.
