Finishing in January means you can still start your degree in Semester 1, 2024!

Am I eligible to complete with Summer Term?

You are eligible to complete your program with the Summer Term course if you have:

  • 10 units to complete your program
  • Completed all of your core courses (for Yapug)

Will all degrees still be available for entry after Summer Term?

The first round of offers after grades are released for Summer Term will be made in early February 2024 to start in Semester 1, 2024.

In this later round places will be available in all programs on the Guaranteed Admissions Scheme, and most others with competitive entry.

Students who complete with Summer Term will not be eligible for Semester 1 2024 entry into the Bachelor of Midwifery, the Miroma Bunbilla or Excellence Through Equity Pathways to Medicine due to the earlier application deadlines.

These quota-based programs also typically fill up in the 1st round, so it is unlikely places will be available after Summer Term:

  • B Biomedical Science
  • B Medical Radiation Science (Honours): (Diagnostic Radiography), (Nuclear Medicine), and (Radiation Therapy)
  • B Nursing
  • B Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours)
  • B Occupational Therapy (Honours)
  • B Oral Health Therapy
  • B Pharmacy (Honours)
  • B Physiotherapy (Honours)
  • B Podiatry
  • B Social Work (Honours)
  • B Speech Pathology (Honours)

Will degree applications re-open after Summer Term?

The direct application form will not re-open after Summer Term, so you should still submit your undergraduate application on the Your Next Move website by the closing date.
