School programs

Watt Space Gallery offers a range of services to schools, including guided tours and professional practice workshops. Exhibiting artists and curators may be available for floor talks, along with gallery staff and interns.

The gallery has a large floor area that is ideal for lunch in the event of wet weather. Access to Watt Space outside opening hours for school groups can be arranged by appointment. View the options below to see what best suits the needs of your school group.

Booking options

Guided tour
Guided tours can be booked to suit your needs. Tours should be booked at least two weeks in advance, with any special requests regarding content included.

Self-guided visit
Simply let the gallery know when you are coming, so we can ensure that other events do not coincide with or interrupt your visit.

Professional practice workshops
Designed for Year 11 and 12 students, these specialised workshops are presented by the University Art Curator and may cover areas such as exhibition development and installation, press releases and invitations. These booking requests must be made at least one month in advance and are subject to availability.
