Student Ombudsman

The University supports equitable, fair and transparent decision-making and in order to ensure this has established the role of the Student Ombudsman.

The Student Ombudsman operates in a confidential, independent and non-adversarial capacity. The Student Ombudsman can assist you by reviewing the policies applied and processes undertaken in the determination of academic and administrative decisions. If you believe that a decision unfairly affects your studies at the University, you may contact the Student Ombudsman to request a review.

The Student Ombudsman is not an advocate for the University or the student complainant; rather it aims to ensure that decisions made by the University are reasonable, consistent and procedurally fair.
