Providing teaching in medical sciences including anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, exercise science and pharmacy, across all the health professions in the College, the school offers Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Biomedical Science honours, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours), Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science honours and Master of Exercise Physiology degrees, in addition to providing courses in anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology and immunology for all the health professional programs offered by the university. With the increase of health problems due to lifestyle and inactivity and the high profile of elite sport, there is an increasing need for specialists with an understanding of the relationship between exercise and health. Our graduates have careers as biomechanists, exercise physiologist, strength and conditioning coaches and sports scientists.
