Where could you go?
Our Department of Rural Health has seven main site locations within our extensive NSW geographical footprint. Each of these main sites is equipped with offices, learning facilities and student accommodation. Students can choose to undertake their rural placements at one of our main placement sites, or within our NSW footprint more generally (see map below).
Tamworth

Students who undertake a rural placement in this stunning coastal town are often looking to mix study, travel and a relaxing beach lifestyle—all less than three hours’ drive from Newcastle.
Taree
Taree is located at the heart of the picturesque Manning Valley. The town is surrounded by pristine beaches, waterways and nature reserves.
