Student work

The School of Architecture and Built Environment has seen many great success stories from its students. Sacha Parkinson won the NSW Architects Registration Board 2014 Architects Medallion for her impressive portfolio of projects completed during her Masters degree at UON.

In the 2013 NSW Architecture Graduate and Student Awards, Anthony Parsons, graduating Masters of Architecture student was awarded the highest accolade for a graduate in NSW, receiving the NSW Design Medal.

Fellow graduating Masters of Architecture student, Christopher Mullaney, received a commendation, in addition to the undergraduate prize received by Bachelor of Design (Architecture) student Angus Vinden. In the past four years, the School has received the design medal three times and the commendation three times.

Industrial Design

In 2014, students created a 'Kickstarter' style video for their final year project, bucking the trend of the standard PowerPoint speech-style presentation. They were also given exclusive advice from Kickstarter Community Managers and a local production company to complete the experience, read more here.
