Callaghan College visits UON Architecture

As part of Callaghan College's elective class 'MaD Science', students recently visited the School of Architecture and Built Environment to work on designing and investigating eco-housing.

A group of over 20 students were taken on tours of the facilities within the School, seeing the large industrial manufacturing equipment, the architecture design studio, a number of exhibits and areas used by the different stages of students completing architecture degrees.

The students then worked with final Year Architecture students to plan, design and build model Eco houses based on a lecture delivered by the Head of the Discipline of Architecture, Chris Tucker.
