Nominations for Central Coast Campus Friends Student and Research Awards

Nominations for the following awards are now open, and students and/or staff are encouraged to apply: 

  • Central Coast Campus Friends Student Award (ID:546)

Awarded annually to an undergraduate student at the Ourimbah Campus of the University of Newcastle with a distinguished academic record, who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Central Coast community through voluntary and/or paid work and who would benefit through the receipt of the award.

Students are to nominate themselves

Prize is $300 + 1 year Hon. Membership Central Coast Campus Friends.

  • Central Coast Campus Friends Research Award (ID:620)

Awarded annually to the research student or member of staff at the University of Newcastle, TAFE NSW - Hunter Institute or Central Coast Community College (Central Coast campuses) who is undertaking research of a particular benefit to the Central Coast community socially, economically or environmentally. Preference will be given where the research has the potential for significant positive impact on education and/or the workplace on the Central Coast.

Students and staff are to nominate themselves

Prize is $300 + 1 year Hon. Membership Central Coast Campus Friends.

Staff are asked to disseminate this information through to students who may wish to apply.
