Placement Opportunities

You never know where a placement could take you!

In 2016,Claire Lawlor, a 4th Year Student studying a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Commerce,  chose a BUSN3002 placement with Vision Property and Finance in Mt Hutton. In taking this placement, Claire had a keen interest in advancing her skills in financial planning.

Matched with host organisation Vision Property and Finance, Claire was able to gain valuable industry experience by undertaking coding transactions from a tax point of view, and by attending meetings with clients to further her understanding of the practical application of financial planning.

Vision Property and Finance regarded Claire as a highly competent candidate within the BUSN3002 course. Following the conclusion of her placement, Claire was successful in gaining part-time employment with the organisation.

Claire encourages fellow students to undertake this course as she believes it is a great opportunity to gain further exposure to the practical application of the financial theories taught at university.
