    The Port of Newcastle is one of the largest and most diverse ports in Australia and recognised as a global gateway for both the region and Australia. It is also embarking on an ambitious diversification strategy that leverages our natural advantages to the benefit of our customers and the Australian economy. 

    An afternoon on Newcastle’s working harbour is a chance to view key port infrastructure up close, including state-of-the-art coal and grain export terminals, along with the Port’s newest berth and bulk liquids import facility. The Port tour will also highlight the largest vacant portside development site in Australia earmarked the Newcastle Container Terminal development, and the future site of the Newcastle Cruise Terminal to support tourism and economic development in the Hunter.
