Congratulations to Evonne Irwin, Ben Carter and Sally Baker for successfully gaining funding from the Association for Academic Language and Learning to conduct 'A national stocktake of numeracy in enabling courses in Australian Higher Education (HE)'.
The current project will investigate and acknowledge the integral place of numeracy in the notion of academic literacies, while building a broader, more comprehensive picture of academic literacies in enabling education, and, through its participatory methodology, initiate discussions among enabling practitioners to further strengthen practice and research ties across the field nationally.
