'What works? Facilitating an effective transition into higher education'
This lecture will draw on research evidence from the What works? Student retention and success program (2008-12) in the UK. It will also introduce aspects of the second phase of the program which focuses on implementation and institutional change (2012-16) and current research on independent learning in higher education.
