Business Benefits Improvement in productivity and efficiency in delivering accurate and consistent corporate information. To achieve this benefit the project aims to:
  • Provide UoN analysts with an analytic workbench, an operational and self service management reporting and analysis mechanism
  • Establish a standardised integrated Data Management processes and business rules covering ETL, data quality and data change management.
  • Establish Corporate Information Data Warehouse and business specific Data Marts to support analysis and management reporting needs
  • Metadata driven application; audit trail
  • Customised reports
  • Set up and maintain a Reports Database
  • Knowledge and skills transfer
  • To enable the University analysts to make use of the analytic workbench and take advantage of the business intelligence platform
  • To empower University technical support staff to manage and maintain the delivered environment
