The current University transformation is underpinned by a range of improvement initiatives collectively termed the ‘Program of Work’. Many of the initiatives provide efficiency gains through the streamlining or automation of our business processes. Other initiatives involve significant reengineering of workflows or the support of completely new business process. Each initiative requires corresponding development or enhancement of University information systems.
The Program also includes projects which will refresh and augment elements of the University’s IT infrastructure - which are essential to support these improvement initiatives, as well as providing general benefits for the University community in terms of performance and reliability.
The Program of Work is overseen by the University's IT Governance Committee. The Services' Project Office (SPO) is also involved in coordinating and facilitating the establishment and maintenance of the portfolio of non-academic strategic projects. Each project within the Program of Work has an assigned project manager and follows a standard EPMO project management process.
