GroupWise is the standard email and scheduling package for the University of Newcastle. As part of the University's Managed Operating Environment (MOE), the GroupWise client is installed on every University owned computer.
GroupWise is an easy-to-use messaging system that offers a wide range of powerful communication and collaboration capabilities. Features of the product include e-mail, personal calendaring, group scheduling, imaging, task and document management, rules-based message management, and electronic discussions.
GroupWise simplifies communications by providing the Universal Mailbox - a single access point for all types of messages, calendar information and documents.

Lists the tasks that need to be completed and assigns a priority level to each task. |

Appointment |
Schedules meetings with other users and requests resources, such as a conference room. You can also identify conflicts among individual schedules while scheduling a group meeting. |

Notes |
Creates reminders for you or other users. Notes are scheduled for specific days. |
The University of Newcastle has negotiated a site licence for the GroupWise client. A site licence allows staff of the University to download the software on to their personal computer at no cost to the individual. A current Uni-ID/Student Number and password are required to download this software.
